Performed circa 1913. Thora sang in a pleasant soprano voice while Hugh growled in a rough voice.
Thora would pull off her wig at the end of the performance to reveal that "he" was actually a bald-headed man
Lydia Dreams
Real name: Walter Lambert. Female Impersonator.
Hospital skit: Dreams played a nurse and the figure played an accident victim.
Dreams also painted "Popularity" -- a tribute to the variety era. This painting is in the London Museum.
